The mounting bolt holes for the top plate of the (discontinued) Remov-A-Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Custom Installation Kit 6300-4435 measures 12-3/8" x 10" (see attached photo). This doesn't quite line up with the spacing on your Curt Center Section # C-52 but we do have some other gooseneck options for your 2006 Dodge Ram 2500.
I recommend going with the B&W Gooseneck Hitch as it allows you to store the ball upside down in the receiver plus you won't have that plate sitting above your bed all the time. If you have the Mega Cab use # BWGNRK1308, otherwise you'll need the part # BWGNRK1313 instead.
Attached are some review videos for you to check out.
