Brake Controllers such as the Curt # C51180 Echo Wireless Brake Controller aren't a vehicle specific item. As long as your Ranger has a fully-functioning 7-way trailer connector and you have a smart phone, it'll work great for you.
I've linked to a video showing the Echo being installed on a 2019 Ranger. I've also linked to the installation instructions. You'll want to carefully follow the installation instructions regarding the pairing of the controller to your phone.
