If I Add Overload Springs To My 1997 Ford F-250 Will I Have To Change The Frame Brackets?

I have a 97 Ford F-250 Heavy Duty and I am looking at the B and W gooseneck hitch. I was wondering if it would be okay to get the one for overload springs even though I dont have overload springs. Reason I am asking is because I might add overload springs later. Would the hitch for overload spring work without actually having overload springs?

With the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1100 that is made for your 1997 Ford F-250 without the overload springs, you can cut 10" off the mounting brackets in the event that you do add overload springs. This is found in the installation instructions that are linked below.
B&W does not recommend installing the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1110 on a truck that does not already have the overload springs. It appears that the kit does not have the correct spacers that are needed to install on the non overload springs pickup.
