Replacement Wheel, Tire and Carrier Recommendation for a 18.5x8.5-8 Tire

I would like to replace two 18.5 x 8.5-8 tires currently on a snowmobile trailer with the AM3H290, as apparently recommended on e-trailer.com. My trailer wheel lugs are 4 on 4 and the pilot hole is 2.5. Two questions please: 1 is this the correct replacement tire and wheel? 2 Will this tire and wheel fit on the FSTC1000301 Fulton Spare Tire Carrier that you sell? Thanks very much!

The Kenda 215/60-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8 inch White Wheel # AM3H290 should work very well for you. This wheel and tire combo has the same tire size you are trying to replace, the same bolt pattern and the same pilot hole diameter.
The Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier # FSTC1000301 that you referenced would not work as it is only designed to work with wheels 10 inches in diameter and up.The only style of carrier that is going to work on a wheel of this size would be a U-bolt style carrier like the CE Smith Spare Tire Carrier # CE22007Z-11050-2.
