Question:
Hi, Ive got a Curt 5,000 lb weight rating hitch on my motorhome. Id like to tow a vehicle that weighs 5,180 lbs. Is there a Curt hitch that would fit my weight requirements for my motorhome?

We might have a hitch that'll work for you, but you'll need to take a couple of quick measurements. If the center to center bolt hole spacing (from side to side) is 38-5/8 inches and the drop (distance from the underside of the frame member to the lowest point of the back bumper) is less than 2 inches, the Curt # 14053 with its 10000 lb towing/1000 lb tongue weight capacity will work for you.
If you need a larger drop than that, the Draw-Tite # 41990-07 weld-on service body hitch offers a 7-inch drop and a whopping 16000 lbs towing/1600 lb tongue weight capacity.
