Question:
Folks, have written last month about boat trailer bearing replacements and Nicole R was extremely helpful. After again looking at the info she sent me one thing I noticed is that there wasnt a tool for removing the bearings and seals. She sent me one for installing only. Do you have something like this? Hate to use a punch and risk scoring the inside of the hub. It has the super lube hubs. Thanks

We have the Seal Puller # PTW1219 for removing the grease seal on the back of the hub to make removing the inner bearing easier.
The 7-Piece Installation Set for Bearings, Races, and Seals # PTW83020 is only used when installing the bearing races and grease seals.
While we do not have a removal tool for the bearing races you can generally get those types of expensive tools as a loaner tool from many of your aftermarket parts stores(Autozone, O'Riellys). Personally I have always used a punch and hammer with no issues. You will just want to work around the race making sure to direct the force to push the race out of the hub. Even if you were to slightly nick the outside of the hub since the bearing rides inside the new race there will not be any issues with the hub functioning properly with the new components installed.
