Question:
What snow tire chains do you recommend for my 2017 Toyota 4-Runner with 245/60 20 Tires?

Expert Reply:
According to your 2017 Toyota 4Runner owner's manual the links on your snow tire chain should not be larger than 5mm thick. If you decide to use snow tire chains that have thicker links, you do so at your own risk. Most of these snow tire chains will have the Class S designation. My snow chain recommendation is the Konig Premium Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link - K-Summit XXL - Size K78, part # KON84FR, because it is a Class S snow tire chain. These snow tire chains will be secured to your tires via lug nuts, without any coverage on the back of the tire. Another Class S compatible option would be the Titan Chain Diagonal Alloy Cable Snow Tire Chains - Light Truck - 1 Pair, part # TC741DC. The Titan Chain will connect on the front and the back of your tire.
The Titan Chain Mud Service Snow Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Twist Link - 1 Pair, part # TC2439, you attached to your question is not Class S compatible and the links are significantly larger than what Toyota recommends for your 4Runner.
I have included product description links, a video installation link, and a picture of the Class S snow tire chain tolerances below.
