Recommended Trailer Dolly For Lowering 4,000 Pound Trailer Down a Driveway

Question:
Hi there I am considering purchase of a 4000 lb 19 foot trailer. I live in a city ie not a ton of space so would need a trailer dolly to help position the trailer in my driveway. The driveway slopes down 3 degrees from the road/sidewalk. Due to space constraints any trailer would have to go down rear first with the hitch on the uphill towards the street. We have a 13 foot trailer today so can back in and position with our car. Will be tougher with a longer trailer. Could any of the dollies you sell help back a trailer down a short 3 degree grade? I see the guidance is to pull down a hill but that isn’t an option for us. Thanks!

In order to lower your 4,000 lb trailer down your driveway the only option would be the Trailer Valet RVR5 Remote-Controlled Trailer Dolly # TVRVR5. This dolly can handle a trailer up to 5,500 lbs and 550 lbs of tongue weight. It also works on slopes and inclines up to 5 degrees.
In order to use this dolly you would have to give up backing the trailer in, since the coupler would need to be on the downhill side. This dolly must push the trailer uphill and lead the trailer when going down a slope. If that is absolutely impossible, your only option will be to back the trailer in with your vehicle.
I have attached a video review for your reference.
