To put together the Surco spare tire mount cargo carrier # SPSJ4319 you will just need basic hand tools like screwdrivers, wrenches/sockets, and that is really about it. To mount it you will need to use the tire tool to take the lug nuts off of the spare tire. Other than that there are no special tools needed for installation.
