Question:
Im concerned about getting a kayak of this weight onto the roof. Ive seen a T-bar type device that fits into a 2 hitch receiver that would raise the T-bar to the level of the roof and support the longer length of a tandem kayak. Do you have a device like this?

In order to haul a tandem kayak you will need to do so with the hull down. The Yakima DeckHand Kayak Carrier part # Y04083-2 will be a great option for this as it's designed for larger, heavier kayaks up to 80 lbs. It will however require a 24" crossbar spread. It works with most aftermarket and factory crossbars.
If you don't already have a roof rack, the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack part # MPG216 is a great option for models with raised side rails.
