The Curt Trailer Hitch # C13422 is designed to fit your 2003 Chevy Suburban 1500, but only on the rear of the vehicle. If you want to get a front mount hitch installed, you will want the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 31302. This will require no drilling for the install, but may need some trimming to get everything fitting properly.
I included an install video we have of this hitch being put on an 03 Suburban for you to check out as well.
