Question:
I’m in the process of adding REDARC Tow pro elite trailer brake controller to my 2020 Turbo Outback. We will be towing our Mean Bean trailer with it. I’m stuck on how to pass my wires from the engine compartment to the interior of the car. I thought I’d see a grommet that would make it pretty straightforward but so far drawing a blank. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve watched the E-trailer YouTube video a few times but still stuck.

I believe you are referencing the video showing the install of the Redarc Liberty # RED24FR on a 2020 Subaru Outback, and the grommet to pass through the firewall will be the same for installation of the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR.
I have added a photo pointing out where our installer found the grommet on a 2020 Outback, though I am aware that this can be a real pain to not only find, but also get the wiring through. What should help is the use of something like a coat hanger to essentially open up the grommet; if you use that to push through initially it should make it much easier to run the wires through the firewall so you can mount the # RED44FR.
