Please consult your vehicle specific owners manual as what I have available online states to not flat tow the 2012 Ford Transit Connect with the front drive wheels on the ground. It is recommended to tow your vehicle with the front drive wheels on a dolly with the transmission in N (Neutral). You will want to use a trailer or a car dolly such as # RM-2050-1 are the only acceptable methods of flat towing the vehicle.
