Question:
I have a Graber bike rack w/ 1-1/4. I want to mount bike rack on a Grand Design travel trailer bumper. Do you sell a 1-1/4 Reese or do I need to purchase the 2 and purchase the adapter? Thanks

Expert Reply:
There isn't a 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver for your trailer's bumper, so what you would need is a 2 inch hitch receiver with a hitch reducer. So here is exactly what you will need:
- Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100
- Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HT02
The reducer will simply slide into the hitch and attach with the included pin and clip. Unlike other reducers, this won't affect the capacity of the hitch either, but it does have a maximum tongue weight of 300 lbs, so that's the most your rack and bikes can weight. The hitch is designed to bolt around 4 inch square bumpers.
