Question:

Dear Etrailer, I have a 1993 Fleetwood Wilderness 23V travel trailer with the standard box looking bumper on the back. I noticed in your guide you state the bumper needs to be a continuous welded bumper. My camper has two main frames like a car that go the entire length of the trailer and the bumper is welded to these frames. So, the bumper is only weleded to the left frame and the right frame, there is nothing in between the frames attached to the bumper. Which 4 carrier bike rack could I use?

To carry 4 bikes on the bumper of your 23 ft, 1993 Fleetwood Wilderness Travel Trailer you will need to install a RV Bumper Hitch such as Curt # E-100. This receiver is 2 inches and mounts on a standard 4 inch bumper.

A hitch mounted 4 bike rack that would work nicely for your RV is the Swagman Original # S64400 which has great reviews from RV owners.

I have attached two short video covering the Swagman # S64400 as well as the adapter # S64030.

If you plan on carrying a womans, childs or alternative frame bike, check out the Swagman Adapter Bar # 64005. By using this bar you ensure your bike will be carried level and with good ground clearance.

Finally, you may want to look at is the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable # S64030 for when your bikes are left unattended.

In order to use the Swagman 4 bike carrier # S80600, your bumper must have a single continuous weld across the entire back of the RV.
