Availability of Thule Evolution Roof Box Lock Mechanism

Id like to know if the lock mechanism suggested in this thread would work for me. I inherited this box with the lock completely missing. Is there any guide for the parts recommended in that other post? I cant tell how I would install them, and whether or not they would fit my roof box. Thanks in advance!

Since Thule only has replacement lock cores and not the entire lock/latch mechanism the only option is typically to fashion a lock yourself like you saw in that other answer. There is no guarantee that using the # SR03807 and # TH03808 will work for this roof box since they were not designed for it.
There is also no guarantee that your carrier would be safe to use with this installed in place of the original mechanism. This also means there is no guide for how to use them should you attempt to fashion a new lock and latch for your Thule Evolution. Although it is certainly less than ideal, the best solution when this happens is to replace the roof box with a new one like the # TH615.
