Question:
Hello, Which of the Air lift air sping products would fit my 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500HD DRW? I have a fifth wheel hitch installed . Also can you tell me why the 7500XL doesnt have a jounce bumper but the 5K models do? I was told by an installer its important to have a jounce bumper in case the air spring fails. Thank You for your help.

If you are wanting a heavy duty Air Lift system, you will want the LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs # AL57538. These will have no problem fitting your 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500 with dual rear wheels and the hitch in the bed of your truck. They are rated up to 7,500 pounds of load leveling capacity at 100 psi and are American made.
As to these not having an internal jounce, I did contact Air Lift and they are looking to add the internal jounces to the 7,500 XL in the future, but they could not tell me when this will be, unfortunately. I can say that this internal jounce is a nice thing, but even in the off chance that a bag fails, they are just supplementing the factory suspension, not replacing it. So your truck will sit a little funny if it happens, but you will still be able to get off the road and get a replacement. They also include a Lifetime Warranty, which is a nice thing to have.
