can i just ad 6 tubing undeneath to get the trailer bed height above the tires.

There are a couple ways to raise your trailers height, but using some 6" tubing is not one of them. The quickest and easiest way to lift your trailer is to use an over-under conversion kit # K71-385-00 for 3" diameter axles, or # K71-384-00 for 2-3/8" diameter axles. This will raise your trailer approximately the diameter of the axle, so if you use the 3" conversion kit you will gain 3" of height, or if you use the 2-3/8" conversion kit, you will gain 2-3/8" of height.
