Question:

Hi! Your site is great. a couple questions. 1. are the snow socks the same as the textile snow chains I see elsewhere? if so the reviews arent good. 2. I am interested unless you dont think I should be in the Thule easy to put on snow chains that won the guiness record. We would need them for an Audi Q7 285/40/R21 2021 or an audi A8L aka A8 2021 265/40/R20 Are they appropriate for both or either, If so can you send me custom links for both? THANKS!

1. Yes, the Snow Socks # TCH70 are the same as those textile ones and the only time that we ever recommend them is never. It's pretty much like wrapping a towel around your tires and hoping for the best (oversimplification, but that's about how helpful they are). We literally only carry them because some vehicle manufacturers say to use them (I have no idea why).

2. The Konig Easy Fit chains (Thule used to own them) are definitely some of the best chains on the market and are easily one of my favorite styles. For the Easy Fit chains you'll need part # th04115265 for the 285/40R21 tires on your 2021 Audi Q7, or part # TH04115250 for the 265/40R20 tires on your 2021 Audi A8.
