Picking Out Replacement Axle for Trailer
Published 12/29/2021 >
Question:
Im looking for axles for my travel trailer. Its 2013 Forest River Wildwood XLite 251RlLXL. There are two axles. The rear one is the bent one that I would have to replace. There are electric brakes on them. What do you recommend? Replace just the bent axle and hubs and reuse everything else like the brakes?

If only the axle is bent then you can go with just a new axle and reuse all of the other components like the hubs, bearings, brake assemblies, etc. To pick out the correct replacement axle you will need to get the hub face to hub face dimension of your axle as well as the spring seat center to spring seat center and the axle weight capacity.
I don't have a way to look that up so you'd have to get me that info and I can see if it's an axle we carry or one that you'd have to order locally. I attached a link to a page that has all of the trailer axles we offer as well for you to check out.
