Question:
I need to replace the 3500lb axle in my BigTex 35SA trailer it is bent, from 2004. Will you part # T3584F-EZ-8974 accept my existing hubs? My spindles are stepped and the castillated nut is held in place by a cage and not a cotter pin.

Most 3,500 lb trailer axles out there are Dexter axles like the part # T3584F-EZ-8974 that you referenced. Or another very popular brand is Lippert. Most likely you have one of those two and that would mean that your current hub would fit the spindle of the # T3584F-EZ-8974. This comes with a stepped spindle and a castle nut with a cage type cotter pin setup like you mentioned having.
What you can do is measure the diameters of the spindle on your axle where the bearings ride to know for sure. If the diameters measure 1.06 and 1.37 inch in diameter then you know your hubs will fit the spindles.
