Hello, I had a customer in our store looking to have a hitch installed because the want to put a rack in the back, not to tow with it. The customer has a 2021 Ford Ranger with a bumper hitch. Are you aware if this fits that vehicle? Thank you for your time

The Curt # E-3S bumper hitch isn't a vehicle specific product, it'll fit many different step bumper equipped trucks and SUV's.

If your Ranger is equipped with a step bumper with holes spaced as shown in the photo, it'll fit. The hitch itself carries a 5000 lb capacity, which could be limited by the capacity of the bumper which might be less (contact your local Ford dealer for exact bumper capacity).

This being said, I'd highly recommend going with a custom-fit frame mounted hitch like the etrailer # e63ZR Class III hitch. The hitch attaches to the underside of the frame member for a more safe and secure attachment that would allow you to take advantage of the up to 7500 lb towing capacity of your Ranger since this hitch is rated for an 8,000 towing capacity when used with weight distribution. No drilling is required to complete the install.

To install a 7-way trailer connector, use part # 22124.
