Question:

Im looking at the roof racks said to fit my Kia Soul. They mention being for naked roofs. They also mention the kit needed for a naked roof. They do not mention, or show in the pictures Ive looked at, how it can attach to the roof using the attachment points under the 4 covers on the rooftop. I dont need, or want, something that hooks into the windows. Can someone help me choose the right product?

We do offer fixed point roof rack options for your 2016 Kia Soul. If you choose the "without Panoramic Glass" option, you will see a flush mounted rail option. That is the fixed point option. I recommend the Yakima offering because the new Yakima tower have a pitch adjustment that keeps the front and rear crossbars level. It consists of the following:

This roof rack has a weight limit of 165 lbs. I included the Yakima Same Key System, so you can secure the rack to the roof of your vehicle.
