Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2000 Ford F-350 I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR. This brake controller is the best choice in my opinion because of its simplicity and it is out of the way, unlike regular brake controllers. With this brake controller, there is virtually no bulk, only exposing the control knob. Additionally, the control knob has no preference on orientation to work correctly, you can install it any way you'd like without worrying about functioning.
There is also a plug and play wiring harness available # RED87FR that will simply plug into your vehicles junction box and run directly to the back of the Tow-Pro Elite.
If you do not already have a 7 way at the rear of your vehicle, you can use # ETBC7 to add one, to complete installation of the Tow-Pro Elite.
