How Long Do Cross-Bars Need To Be To Install Two Thule Hullavators On A 2014 Jeep Patriot

We have a 2014 Jeep Patriot with the factory rails front to back but no cross bars. We are wanting to mount 2 Thule Hullavators on the rack. I have seen pictures where you can do this. Do you have a recommended cross bar length for my application?

The Thule Hullavator Pro Kyak Carrier # TH898 take up approximately 28-1/2" of cross bar space. That being said, you will need at least 57 inches of crossbar space. For your 2014 Jeep Patriot, I recommend you use the Malone AirFLow2 Roof Rack # MPG216 with your factory raised rails. These bars are 58" long, 3" wide, and 1" tall and weigh 13 lbs.
