Question:
Looking for suggestions on what I need and installation info for a good brake controller for a 2007 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer

Expert Reply:
For a quality brake controller on your 2007 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR. The main unit of this proportional brake controller installs out of sight and the control knob mounts in the dash. The control knob allows you to adjust the braking power and acts as the manual override. It also uses a colored LED for simple diagnostics.
This brake controller uses a 3-Axis accelerometer which measures deceleration in all directions for precise braking and smooth, uniform stopping action. If you have the factory port beneath your dash you will also want the # RED87FR for installation. If you do not have this port you will have to hardwire the brake controller in.
I have attached an installation video on a 2017 Ford Expedition along with the written instructions for your reference.
