With this hinge and the side of a trailer.. door opening up and out.. is there a moulding of sorts you offer to keep water out.. a j channel or drip edge? What would you recommend if anything?

We do offer drip rail which we sell in 10 foot lengths as part # SR83FR. The rail would work great mounted above the door you mention, and would do a great job of keeping rain out of the top edge of the door.
For the door edges, I'd use # SR92FR which is available in 15 foot lengths.
