pd9180alv . What does alv mean.also I dont need converter / charger for my lifepo4 400ah battery just charger.do you have a charger only to fit my needs?

The Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger, # PD9180ALV is a converter charger that changes AC shore power to DC power to run 12V loads and charge your lithium RV batteries when connected to an AC power source. The "AL" in the part number # PD9180ALV identifies this component as being for lithium chemistry batteries as opposed to the # PD9180A that works with flooded lead acid, AGM, and gel batteries but not lithium. The "V" in ALV is simply identifying that it is available for individual sale, not just bulk.

Lithium-Ion batteries require battery chargers that can produce at higher voltage than provided by standard 12-volt lead/acid battery chargers. Trying to recharge a Lithium-Ion battery with a standard lead/acid charger will result in a partially charged battery.

For your 400 AH Battery Bank I suggest the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger, # PD9180ALV.
