Question:
2018 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel does not have standard reverse light. I would like to upgrade to combo light with separate turn and reverse lights. Is that possible without re-wiring?

In order to determine if you will be able to use a light with a backup light like the Fusion LED Trailer Tail Light # STL68RB you will have to check out your current wiring. This light has a 4-wire pigtail with the white being ground, brown for backup, red for brake and turn, and black for tail. More than likely you do not have a wire for the backup function since you do not have this function on your current tail lights.
If you feel comfortable running a wire like # DW02413-1 from your 7-way through your 5th wheel, you can add the necessary wire to power the backup lights. If this is not something you feel comfortable with, I recommend taking it to a professional to install and run the wire. Otherwise you are looking at sticking with what you currently have.
I have attached a review video along with a helpful article on 7-way wiring for your reference.
