Installing Redarc Liberty in a 2022 Ford Ranger XLT with 7-Way

Do I need to use the 30 amp circuit breaker to install the redarc liberty in my 2022 Ford Ranger xlt. Also when reviewing installation videos they show all 4 wires from under the dash connected with butt connectors to the harness that plugs into the redarc module including the ground wire. Is this correct or should the ground wire be attached somewhere else?

Since there is brake controller wiring present under the dash of your 2022 Ford Ranger XLT you would not need to wire in an additional relay and you can wire the ground of the Redarc Tow Pro Elite # RED44FR (white wire) directly to the ground of the brake controller wiring on the truck.
There should be four wires coming out of a large wire harness by the driver side firewall, left of the brake pedal, which can be wired to the brake controller wires.
