The Lionshead Steel Modular Trailer Wheel - 15" x 6" - 6 on 5-1/2 - Silver # LHHA312 has the highest load capacity for your ST225 75R15 tire size at 2,850lbs. This 15" x 6" steel trailer wheel has a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern and a 4.29" pilot diameter. Beveled stud holes secure the mounted wheel. Rust-resistant powder coat finish on both sides of wheel offers superior rust protection.

This wheel also comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years from the manufacturer, Lionshead. If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.

Why do I see other wheels rated at 3200 pounds, yet you are saying this is the strongest. I'm also looking for the strongest rim I can find since the 14 ply tires are rated for 3500 pounds.

@Justin This answer page is from 2021 so it's likely the highest capacity option we offered at that time. What wheel size are you needing?

@KevinC I'm looking for the strongest wheel I can get for a toy hauler. I noticed that the steel wheels are rated for 2800 pounds, but i'm seeing some aluminum rims that are rated at 3200 pounds. I called a local tire shop and they told me that they don't mount 14 ply tires to the steel rims. Have you heard of this? A 14 ply 225/75r15 tire is rated at 3570 pounds.

@Justin The highest capacity 15" wheels we currently offer are from Sendel, which is a newer vendor for us so that explains why my answer above has a lower capacity option listed. These wheels are aluminum so the shop shouldn't have a problem. 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern: Aluminum Sendel Series T17 Matte Black Mesh Trailer Wheel - 15" x 6" Rim # SEN84FR 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern: Aluminum Sendel Series T09 Black Machined Trailer Wheel - 15" x 6" Rim # SEN48FR Aluminum Sendel Series T17 Matte Black Mesh Trailer Wheel - 15" x 6" Rim # SEN24FR Aluminum Sendel Series T03 Machined Trailer Wheel - 15" x 6" Rim # SEN44FR If the shop isn't wanting to put the tires on then it's likely just a preference issue with the shop, there could be an issue with the machine they use to put the tires on the wheel (doubtful though), or the shop is busy enough to turn away the work and using that as an excuse. If you need help finding a new tire shop nearby that will install the tires you can use our installer locator (linked below).
