Curt Echo Brake Controller Will Not Pair To Phone Bluetooth
Updated 11/17/2021 | Published 11/16/2021 >
Question:
After following some troubleshooting in the site to find how to connect the Curt Echo Break controller, it still refuses to connect, even as it was blinking to indicate that it isnt connected. We tried everything, from re-installing the app, disconnecting the Curt Echo Bluetooth from the devicesince it says were supposed to connect by an app, the like. Yet despite that, it still doesnt recognize the device, which is even more confusing since in the Bluetooth settings it recognizes the Echo device over there! I also made sure it wasnt connected by phone so to make sure it connects by the Curt Echo app. Still no luck. NOTHING worked Im doing this to help my dad with the trailer since hes having problems with it, so Im trying to figure out whats going on. It was also working just fine before, so it gave us further confusion on why it didnt work this time. Thank you for reading through our troubles

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I recommend first unplugging the Echo item # C51180, unplugging the trailer 7-way from the Echo, deleting the application from the phone, reinstalling the application, and then plug the Echo into vehicle 7-way (by itself) until the Echo has a solid blue light. If this still doesn't solve the issue then let me know and I will look more into and contact Curt.
