I recently ordered hardware to mount Aries 4inch oval nerf bars on my 2004 Dodge Ram four door pickup quadcab. I have received the mounting kit but I think it is for a different vehicle. I ordered S224046; Any advice would be appreciated!

I believe you are correct, the mounting hardware you have # AABRKT-S224046 is meant to replace the mounting hardware on the Aries Oval Nerf Bars # AAS224046, which are not a fit for your 2004 Dodge Ram.
Instead, you should have ordered the Replacement Mounting Hardware Kit for Aries 4" Oval Nerf Bars # AA96FB for the Aries Oval Nerf Bars # AAS225008 which is a fit for your vehicle.
