Does Curt Front Hitch C31014 Fit 2001 Ford F-350

Question:
does this hitch fit a 2001 ford f350? My truck is leveled with bigger than stock tires so i would like this one that mounts under the bumper. i called and they said it doesnt confirm fit for even a 2001 ford f250 let alone a 350. It does have the extra guard behind the cowl and i dont know if the 34 inch frame needs to be measured inside the frame or outside the frame?

Expert Reply:
Since your 2001 Ford F-350 has the blocker beam (which is what I believe you were referencing when you mentioned extra cowl), you can definitely install the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31014.
The 34 inch frame is actually a cab and chassis frame, so assuming your F-350 is a standard pick-up, then there is no need to measure, though just to be thorough, the measurement is taken from outside-to-outside of the frame.
