Expert Reply:
The Timbren Silent Ride Suspension for Tandem Axle Trailers, # TSR7000T05 is for an arrangement of tandem 3" round axels rated at 7,000 lb. each. There is not a lighter rating version available in this configuration. If you currently have a tandem axle arrangement of 3" round axles, this will work. As for an increase to the travel of the wheel, that is relative to the current arrangement you have; this has an unloaded ride height of 15” or less providing maximum stability and applying an equal load on all tires at all times.
