Question:

my 2 stage regulator wont connect to my 20 lb tank. I know its left thread but the threads dont reach.

Typically most 2-stage regulators like the # CAM59323 will have a 1/4" NPT inlet connection which would allow you to connect a POL fitting like # 37207-30085 to connect to the inner threads of the 20lb tank. If this is what you have and you're still having issues with the threads not gripping it could be that the threads on either the tank or the fitting are stripped. You can combat this by taking off the POL fitting and using a type-1 fitting like the # CAM59923 which will thread into the 1/4" NPT fitting on your regulator and connect to the tank via the outside threads.
