I have a 2018 Ram 1500 I have the Bed Rock HD Towers but I am trying to figure out if I need to get the 68” or 78” XD bars.

According to Yakima, the 68 inch HD crossbars would be too short, you'll need to use the 78 inch bars. The bars and the Yakima BedRock Towers are sold together in a kit as part # Y01160-59. The rack will have a 300 lb capacity, and you can see an installation video by using the provided link.
