Question:
My 2021 Ram 2500 has a pin on the 7 pin trailer connector that outputs a PWM brake signal. Can you suggest a module that will convert the PWM signal to an on/off signal for an LED Stop Light?

The circuits that feed the tow package/7-way trailer connector are all standard wiring, and aren't PWM. The only two circuits feeding the 7-way that are combined are the right turn and left turn circuit which also carry the brake light signal, is that what you're speaking of?
There are a couple of ways to get an unconverted brake lamp signal, however.
• You could tap into the third brake lamp on the back of the cab or on the tailgate, if your tailgate is so equipped.
• I've seen some reports that on earlier Ram models, there was a white wire with a purple stripe located in the
tow package harness that carries a clean brake signal, to access it you'll need to temporarily remove some of
the wire loom from the tow package harness. I'm not sure if that wire exists on a 2021 model, but it's worth a
look.
• You can install a brake light switch to your brake pedal, using part # RM-751000 which would provide you with a
clean brake signal.
I've linked to a video that explains how the stoplight switch works.
