Question:

I have a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 with factory installed 3 hitch. Wanting 2 and 2-5/16 ball. Im not sure what drop length I need. Wanting to purchase BandW tow and stow hitch.

For your 2017 Ram 2500 that has the factory 3 inch hitch we have a couple B and W Tow n Stow adjustable ball mount options available. We have the part # BWTS30037B which can do a drop of up to 4-1/2 inches and we have the part # BWTS30040B which can do a drop of up to 7-1/2 inches. So to determine how much drop you'd need you'd need to take two measurements. Measure from the top of the hitch opening down to the ground on your truck and then measure from the bottom of the coupler lip to the ground on your trailer. The difference between these dimensions is the amount of drop you'd need.
