The 2-Wire RV Propane Gas and Carbon Monoxide Detector # RS54FR comes with 2 different mounting brackets. I have included the measurements to both brackets and a video that includes these measurements beginning at the 1:10 mark of the video.

The long bracket measures 7-1/4" wide, 3-3/8" tall and hole to hole measurements of 6" (center of hole to center of hole)

The short bracket measures 5-3/4" wide, 4-1/2" tall and hole to hole measurements of 5-1/4" (center of hole to center of hole)
