Does Derale Transmission Cooler Install Require Teflon Tape

Purchase Derale Transmission Line Compression Fitting Kit with tran cooler.Do the threads need teflon tape for installation?

I would not recommend using Teflon tape with Derale transmission cooler installs or with compression fittings like part # D13032. They aren't needed if the fittings are tightened down properly and if for some reason if the tape was to break off and get into the transmission fluid it might negatively affect the transmission.
