For your 1998 Toyota T100 4X4 you are going to need a few parts to be able to pull the 2015-2018 Jayco Jay Flight camper that you are looking at.
If your Toyota does not have a receiver that is where you will want to start. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75144 is custom fit for your Toyota and requires no drilling to install it on the frame.
For the wiring you will need the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118496 and a Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 to attach a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 that you need for the trailer brakes on the Jayco camper. The T-One harness will plug in line of your factory tail lights to provide the running lights, turn signals and brake light circuits needed on the Jayco. Included in the Installation kit is the wiring needed for the brake controller as well as the charge line that will charge the battery on the Jayco while you drive. You can use the Mounting Bracket # C57202 to attach the 7-way to your receiver cross tube without drilling into the receiver tube.
Finally you will want a Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37060ET when you are towing the Jayco camper. This particular system is rated for a trailer up to 6,000lbs with a tongue weight of 200-600lbs. If your Jayco has a different weight please let me know and I can recommend the correct kit.
The Equal-i-zer system will help to distribute the weight across your Toyota so that the rear of the truck does not carry all the weight and sag in the rear. By keeping your Toyota level you will not get the light steering feel from the front end or reduce your braking or cause the front brakes to lock up easier. The sway control provided from the Equal-i-zer system will help ensure that your trailer track straight when driving down the road. You will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install the included 2" ball onto the hitch when you set it up for your Jayco. If the Jayco requires a 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6100 you will need to order that ball. The Sway Bracket Jackets # EQ95-01-5150 can be used to quiet the noise from the spring bars if you are concerned about them making to much noise.
