I have a great solution for carrying your 2 kayaks. If you have a factory roof rack on your 2019 Audi Q5, you will not have enough weight capacity in order to transport the 40-pound (each pair) Thule Hullavators # TH898. I did some research on the weight capacity of the factory roof rack on your vehicle, and you only have 165 pounds of capacity. You will be at 80 pounds with the 2 Hulavators mounted, which leaves only 85 pounds for your 2 additional kayaks. Sadly, even if you have flush factory rails on your 2019 Audi Q5, we do not carry any roof rack setups that have a higher weight capacity than 165 pounds.

With that being said, we do have some great options for carrying 2 kayaks within the required weight capacity. For a great option, I recommend the Thule Compass Kayak and SUP Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # TH890000. The Compass only weighs 20 pounds, which will allow you to utilize much more of the leftover weight capacity on your roof rack. Also, the Compass comes with 4 tie-down straps and 2 pairs of bow/stern ties to secure your kayaks to your vehicle for transport. Since we do not know your exact crossbar width and bar height if you have factory crossbars, the Thule Compass will fit Thule WingBar Evos which are 3-1/8 inches wide x 1 inch tall. These dimension will be a good comparison to use for the compatibility of your factory crossbars.
