Parts to Convert 2017 Grand Design Momentum 376TH to Electric Over Hydraulic Disc Brake

Question:

Thank you for the fast reply. There’s is another kit that would need the idler hubs as well. Looks like it would be $300 cheaper going that route. But is there any benefits to that set up? And would it also fit this axle? I believe it’s the HSE7K-TR1SO with hubs?

Thanks for the picture of your axle sticker. From that I can tell that your 2017 Grand Design Momentum 376TH has 7k axles which is exactly what the HydraStar Disc brake kit part # HSE7K-TR1 was designed to fit so it would work great on your trailer and with your 2016 Ford F-350 brake controller that has hydraulic mode.

The part # HSE7K-TR1SO would be another great option you could go with. It would work just as well as the other option mentioned that has integrated hubs but you'd just need to provide the idler hubs to go along with it. The advantage is that if at any point the rotors went out you wouldn't have to replace the hub and the rotor. For idler hubs then we have the part # AKIHUB-865-7-2-EZ-K which comes pre-greased as well.
