Recommended Rhino Rack Roof Rack For A 2022 CR-V That Is Compatible With a Thule Hullavator

Question:

Hi, I recently upgraded my vehicle to a 2022 Honda CR-V and am looking to install a Rhino Rack roof rack on it to use with my Thule Hullavator. Ive used .Rhino Rack on a previous car and rather liked them. So (A) I need a system for my CR-V, and (B) it needs to be able to let me use the Hullavator. I am pretty sure I have the flush rails from looking at other picture of the raised style ones. Thanks for your help

I will start by saying there will be absolutely no issue using your Thule Hullavator # TH898 with the Rhino Rack set up I will be suggesting, With that out of the way, lets get you squared away.

As you have the flush rails on your 2022 Honda CR-V, you will need the Custom RCP Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack RC and RV Series Roof Rack Legs # RRRCP60-BK. These will attach directly to fixed mounting points on those flush rails. These will usually have caps/plugs on them and they will need to be removed to get this installed. It is best to get these attached before attaching them to the legs.

Speaking of, the RCL Legs for Rhino-Rack Crossbars and Pioneer Platforms - Fixed Mounting Points - Qty 4 # RRRCL4 will attach directly to the # RRRCP60-BK, but if you install the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 49" Long - Qty 2 # RRVA126B-2 on the # RRRCL4 legs first, it's even easier to get everything mounted and spaced properly. I included an install video showing this as well to assist with everything.

Once all this is done, you will be all set and ready to get you Thule Hullavator installed and Kayaking again.
