Question:
What is the wire gauge on this unit? Is the back flat enough barring the wires of course to mount with double sided tape? Thanks

Expert Reply:
According to the folks at Optronics, the ILL02CEHBP Opti-Brite LED Dome Light which we sell as part # # OPT58FR has leads that are 18 gauge, which is plenty large enough for the lamp's 0.74 amp draw at 12V.
The back of the lamp assembly isn't perfectly flat, but if the double sided tape you use is foam backed so it has a little give to it, it should conform to the back of the lamp well enough to get good adhesion, although using screws is the recommended attachment method.
