Question:

I'm confused, I am looking at your stealth hitch 391AUDQ319 and it says "Only for use with hitch-mounted racks and carriers". Does this mean you can't haul a trailer with it!?

Yes, it sounds odd doesn't it. But no worries, there is another option, let me explain. Stealth hitches such as the # 391AUDQ319 that you ask about are a bit different than a conventional hitch. The receiver that it comes with is designed only for carrying hitch mounted accessories like a bike rack. However, if you want to tow with your 2021 Audi Q3, you can use the # 391AUDQ319T instead. The part number ending in "T" for tow. This one has a specially designed ball mount and 2" hitch ball designed for towing with the Stealth hitch. If you look at the notes for this model, it does state this model is made for towing.

This package is great because it comes not only with the towing ball mount parts, but also with the receiver that can be used for carrying a bike rack and the wiring that is required to add a 4 way wiring harness. This hitch is rated for up to 6000-lbs towing, but from what I was able to find it looks like the Q3 is only rated for around 4000-lbs total, so you will be limited to the lowest rated component-which in this case is the vehicle. I do recommend confirming this in your vehicle owner's manual.
