Question:
C13315 class III hitch. Your ratings are clear on the tow hitch and what I am looking for. But, I am looking to install on a 2022 Telluride EX and tow a 3500 lb boat/trailer. In your professional opinion, is this safe? Given the GTW and TW weights in the KIA manual? please advise.

Expert Reply:
For your 2022 Kia Telluride we have the Curt hitch part # C13420 as a confirmed fit which has more than enough capacity for a 3,500 lb trailer as it is rated for up to 5,000 lb trailer weight. I pulled up the capacity of your vehicle and found that it also is rated for 5,000 lbs so you'd be safe to tow the trailer you mentioned.
Then for trailer wiring the Curt kit part # CU94FR has the easiest install and is the most reliable.
