Troubleshooting MaxxAir MaxxFan Roof Vent Beeping When Used for Exhaust
Published 10/13/2021 >
Question:
I have a MaxxAir Fan installed in my camper van. Im mot sure the exact model/year but it is variable speed, intake/outtake, and has the thermostat feature. Manual lid operation. The fan setting works as does the variable speed, but when I try to reverse the fan and use the exhaust feature it beeps, slows down, then stops completely. The feature used to work until about a month ago. I tried a new motor for the fan but that did not fix the issue. Any ideas?

Have you tried hooking up your MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent # MA00-04000K since you've disconnected the circuit board? In the past when we've reached out to MaxxAir about that beeping sound they have told us to start off by disconnecting the unit from power, waiting for a few minutes, and then connecting it again to reset the circuit board. Try doing this and let me know if that fixes the issue or not.
