Can this be mounted to the tongue instead of the rear bumper? Thank you.

The Mount-n-Lock GennyGo Generator and Cargo Carrier MNT34FR is meant to be mounted on the bumper of your RV and cannot be mounted to the tongue of your trailer without some pretty extreme modification and fabrication. However there is still a solution to mount your generator to the tongue of your trailer, the Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-255 will work perfectly for your needs and can also support up to 300lbs. This carrier sits 29" above the trailer frame, which will give you plenty of clearance for your propane tanks.
